Many applications related to quantum information processing and quantum sensing require a number of lasers with diverse wavelength and at different power levels.  In most cases where excitation of atoms or ions required, the wavelength of interest is at a value that is not readily available and must be generated through frequency multiplication or frequency mixing.  Furthermore, in most applications, the laser noise must be suppressed and its frequency stabilized with an external cavity.  These exacting requirements result in multiple systems that are large in size and difficult to operate.

OEwaves Integrated Laser Systems are designed to tackle the challenges above.  By combining the lasers, doubling systems, amplifiers and frequency stabilization elements in a single, compact box, system operation is greatly simplified.  This capability is achievable with OEwaves’ ultra-low noise lasers combined with frequency doublers and compact stabilization cavities combined in a custom-made, environmentally robust package to fit the user’s requirements.  In this way ultra-low phase, frequency, and amplitude noise at the proper wavelength and output power is provided with an easy to operate architecture.  The package pictured above is an example of such a capability that produces 30 mW of 550 nm light with Hz-level linewidth and ultra-low RIN.  Let us build your system for you!

“Based on direct feedback from customers, OEwaves’ Integrated Laser Systems provide an effective means for simplification of operation of systems that require multiple lasers with frequency conversion and power amplification,” said Lute Maleki, CEO of OEwaves.  “These systems are based on an architecture that readily allows customizing each system for the particular needs of our customers.”
