Dr. Danny Eliyahu is a physicist and Chief Engineer at OEwaves Inc., with a distinguished career in photonics, microwave engineering, and quantum optics.
He holds B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from Bar-Ilan University in Israel, awarded in 1988, 1990, and 1994, respectively. From 1994 to 1997, he served as a Research Fellow in the Applied Physics Department at the California Institute of Technology, where he conducted pioneering work in photonic band structures and quantum wave scattering. He later contributed to cutting-edge developments in high-frequency systems as a member of the Technical Staff at Waveband Corporation.
At OEwaves, Dr. Eliyahu leads innovation in low phase-noise, high-performance opto-electronic oscillators (OEOs), mode-locked lasers, and advanced microwave photonic systems. His research focuses on laser and microwave noise, high-frequency transmitters and receivers, millimeter-wave antennas, and the physics of multiple scattering in optical and quantum systems. A recognized expert in his field, he is the author of more than 30 scientific publications and U.S. patents.
